IMPORTANT GUIDELINES TO REMEMBER

I. All shipments must be accompanied by an AIR CONCEPTS USA airbill.

II. All consignments must have complete addresses. A complete address includes:

NAME OF COMPANY

STREET AND NUMBER

BUILDING NAME

CITY, STATE, COUNTRY and POSTAL CODE (if applicable)

TELEPHONE NUMBER

III. Deliveries to large institutions such as government offices, universities and military bases must have:

INSTITUTION’S NAME – BUILDING – NAME NO.
ROOM NUMBER
DEPARTMENTNAME/NUMBER
NAME OF INDIVIDUAL CONSIGNEE
PHONE NUMBER (if available)

 

IV. Multiple piece shipments must include on each piece:

CONSIGNEE NAME
ADDRESS
AWB NUMBER
NUMBER OF TOTAL BOXES i.e., 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5, etc.

 

V. International packages must include a letterhead COMMERICAL INVOICE. See our customer service representatives for a sample copy and any other additional paperwork needed.

 

VI. COMMERCIAL INVOICES must itemize each item and include:

AN ACCURATE, DETAILED DESCRIPTION
QUANITY
COMPOSTION OF MATERIAL OF CONSTRUCTION
COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE
VALUE (unit price)
SIGNATURE OF SHIPPER

 

VII. All film shipments must include:
LENGTH OF FILM AND RUNNING TIME
WIDTH OF FILM
TITLE OF CONTENT|
BLACK AND WHITE OR COLOR
EXPOSED OR UNEXPOSED
PURPOSE OF IMPORTATION

 

VIII. Weight and size restrictions need to be adhered to for package express. Please check with your customer service representative. On an average, commodities must meet the following requirements:

Maximum weight per piece 70 POUNDS, including dimensional weight –see “X”.

 

IX. On Forwarding charges may apply to certain remote areas.

 

X. DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT All packages, particularly lightweight bulky packages, should be measured to determine dimensional weight. Your shipping cost is determined by either the dimensional weight or the actual weight of your package, whichever is greater.

International dimensional weight is calculated as follows:

Length X Width X Height (cubic inches) divided by 166
For example, 24 x 10 x 16 = 3840 --- 166 = 24 lbs. (round to the nearest pound)
If the actual weight is greater than 24 lbs., use the actual weight to calculate shipping charges.
Otherwise, use whichever is greater.
